Beckworth Retreat is a working Australian White sheep farm located at the foot of Mt Beckworth, just outside the historic mining town of Clunes and only 20 minutes from Ballarat.
Our self-contained accommodation options are best suited for groups or families of up to 14 guests who can self-cater or take advantage of the local dining.
We have available both Guest Units and Double Rooms within the main house which are ideal for couples, small families and PETS are of course most welcome.

Beckworth Retreat provides the ideal self-contained accommodation in Clunes, Victoria with plenty to do or not do..... Wake up to the magpies singing outside of your window and go to sleep to the peaceful sound of the frogs, kookaburras or cockatoos calling from the creek.

Spend your next holiday either totally relaxing in the peace of the garden and taking in the breathtaking scenery, walk along the Beckworth Creek looking for gold or simply watch the local eagle family. There are plenty of other birds with plenty of character and on the protected list - Black Cockatoos, Blackfaced Cuckoo-Shrike. Did you know there are rewards for finding a nest belonging to a Red-Tail Black Cockatoo?
Climb the tracks in the neighbouring Mt Beckworth Scenic Reserve or head out for a day of activities in the Prynees Wine Region, or visit the historic towns of the Goldfields.
