Located in the picturesque and historic township of Creswick, just 20 minutes to either Ballarat or Daylesford.
The Creswick Market is open 9am till 1pm, on the third Saturday of every month. The market is a great day out for the whole family – Bring the kids and your four-footed friends – you’re all welcome.
On the third Sunday of every month the tiny town of Talbot comes alive as thousands of visitors enjoy the vibrant village atmosphere of the Talbot Farmers Market.
Explore the stall lined streets displaying an impressive range of local produce and much more. In true country farmers’ market style you will also chickens, stockfeed, cut flowers, plants and seedlings.

The historic township of Clunes (Victoria's first gold mining town) is only 5 minute drive from our Beckworth Retreat accommodation and it is highly recommended to spend some hours browsing through the Booktown stores or just sitting having a coffee in the historic "film set" main street.
Clunes is only 90 minutes from Melbourne (just 20 minutes north of Ballarat so easy access from the A8 – Adelaide to Melbourne freeway).
Clunes is a picturesque and historic town made famous from the gold rush days and is host to the International Annual Booktown Festival in May.
It is a great place to explore and find little treasures.
Beckworth Retreat is just 6km from town where there are cafes, bookshops, antiquities and the local country pub.
Many Victorian Secrets (Pyrenees, Goldfields, Mineral Spas) are all a short drive away.
